Coming into this thread, I'm sure the majority of people are expecting Hatebreed, Unearth, Terror, and whatnot. No. Piss off with that jive. I'm leaning more towards Swedish hardcore. Some examples... Skitsystem, Anti-Cimex, Wolfpack/Wolfbrigade, Moment Maniacs, Disfear, Genocide SS, etc. D-beat driven hardcore assaults! Any takers?

The only Swedish hardcore band I know is Refused. The Shape of Punk to Come is an awesome album.

^ I have have that album and it is left winged bullshit, it hardly qualifies as music.

Would you prefer right winged? Fuck man, most music with any sort of political message is left-leaning. And how does that stop it from qualifying as music? :erk:

Anyway... Refused isn't exactly what I would call hardcore. I'll find some myspace pages of some good examples.

Yeah I see what style you mean, I'm not a huge fan of it though. It's more what I'd think of as hardcore punk, as opposed to straight up hardcore.

I hate when people make comments like this and don't come back to explain or back up their comment.

Fuck, I hate Agnostic Front. Their vocalist makes me want to tear my eardrums out.

I limit myself on hardcore, usually sticking with the more obvious ones like Black Flag, Minor Threat, Adolescents, Descendents (if you consider their earlier material hardcore), Suicidal Tendencies, Dead Kennedys and The Misfits, as well as a few post-hardcore/art rock bands like At The Drive-In, Fugazi, and Rites of Spring.

I prefer right-wing music, but I also listen to a lot of the aformentioned bands like Anti-Cimex and Wolfpack, which are left-leaning crust punk. same goes with most of the grindcore I listen to.
