It's rare that I get the need to to express my admiration for a band. For someone who is in his thirties, i've listened to a substantial amount of music, i've seen bands come and go, and i've finally become entrenched into the older era of metal from the 80's and very early 90's, having been somewhat dissapointed with a good percentage of today's acts. I came across the band purely by chance, the track being 3 Dimensional Aperture.
From my point of view, the way I can tell that a song does it for me is if it causes the following:

1) Intro makes the hair at the back of my neck to rise
2) Hit the back button to listen to intro again
3) See 1)
4) Listen to the entire song
5) Repeat 4 ad nauseum
6) Start dissecting the song's nuances and realise there's even more to like
7) Buy the entire back catalogue in the hope there is another track that compares to the one you've just spent a week listening to

What can I say, one of the best pieces of songwriting i've had the privilege to listen to in the last 6 years...

haha, sometimes you feel like it, when you go to a show, and look around and see all the youngins. I remember when I was that young, and would say, damn check that old dude out(someone in their 30's)

oh I can promise you that life doesn't start until your 40's! (health issues LOL)

we (42 + 45) are so used to being around younger metalfans (and friends), that we felt really weird when we were in a bluesrock club where Kingdom Come played and we realized the crowd around us was kinda our age :yow:
