I'm from Morgantown, WV, and those guys set a very high bar for other heavy bands in the area. Castle and my own band used to play shows together all the time before they broke up, and their keyboardist told me that they had recorded their first EP with Joey. I was like "whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa????".
That was a pretty long time ago, and I'm not even sure what era in Joey's recording that was, but I found it super duper interesting to listen to the stuff they did with Joey. They re-recorded all the songs they did with Joey for their new album at Chin Studios with Johnny Burke who did a super good job, and they honestly didn't change much. It's cool to be able to listen to the different productions tho.
This is definitely off-topic and I find myself rambling, but I thought I would just ask Joey if he remembered those guys and share an interesting tidbit lol.
