I haven't heard much except the split w/ Commit Suicide but Misery Index are WAY better than D.F.

Dying Fetus hasn't done anything remotely decent since "Purification Through Violence", while Misery Index excretes all over them. Unfortunately, Kevin Talley and Mike Harrisson quit the extreme metal scene, as well as Sparky Voyles up and quitting the band, so who knows what is in store for them.

So Infatuation with Malevolence and Killing on Adrenaline weren't even remotely decent? Yeah, I totally see where you're coming from.

And by the way, I'm not saying that Misery Index don't rule..they do..and if i had to choose between newer DF and MI, I'd go with Misery Index..I just don't what sucks so much about DF now..

This about Kevin and Mike is true - but where did you hear that Sparky left the band as well?? This is just not true. (and if it is, it must have happened an hour ago or something, so that I didn't get to know it yet).

So Misery Index still has 50% of the old DF line-up (the one from DtO)

Perhaps you don't understand the meaning of the word "since", as "Infatuation With Malevolence" was BEFORE "Purification Through Violence", so I was not including it. As for "Killing on Adrenaline", the riffs suck and go nowhere, the vocals are starting to be cheesy and pretentious and theres no life to the songs whatsoever. The drum work is great, but that doesn't equate it to being decent.
