Does anyone have some info on this band? I've heard one song by them and it ROCKS. I'd love to hear some opinions about their album "purity", from which I couldn't find any material via P2P.

What song is it? I have The Most Ancient Ones but I'm not very fond of it. All the songs sound identical, meh...

I've heard one song and wasn't overly impressed. Very death metal-ish, it was. I've been meaning to check them out further during my investigations of the very intriguing Ukrainan black/heathen metal scene, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Feel free to tell us which song it was you heard.
Uh... It was "Pure evil and hate", a fast paced, rock n' rollish song full of HATE 
Anyway, I just downloaded "the most ancient ones" and it doesn't have much in common with "pure evil and hate". Both tracks are great, imo, I'm just not sure which one is more representative of the band's work.

Couldn't find Pure Evil & Hate on the band's discography at metal-archives.com... The Most Ancient Ones album is a compilation of "two earlier demos" so I guess that stuff is not representative as to how they are now...unless they haven't changed at all

i mean ukraine wasn't considered particularly "aryan" by mr H and the blokes back in the days. any suggestions?

Who cares, they're msuically great anyway. Drudkh rules, the "Forgotten Legends" album is probably going to make my top 10 ov 2003.

It ain't bad. It sounds a little like if Beherit around "Drawing Down the Moon" teamed up with Morbid Angel to play epic heathen metal.

Ahhh, we're used to it. Like, we were kind enough to give the Jews some of our land so they could have their own country and stop getting their asses kicked all the time, and they thanked us by killing our soldiers
Is it just me or is 'Hate Forest' one of the most stupid names you've ever heard? Them Nazi bands obviously have the maturity of teenagers and the brains of 8 year olds, but they make some good music. Although I haven't actually heard Hate Forest yet so I can't comment on them.

Scythia is great. Erik's right, very death metal-ish vocals here, over heathen metal. I actually dig it a lot. Hopefully the othrs are as good (if they ever arrive).
I've heard worse names than Hate Forest (which isn't bad). Even though I hate both bands' music, Children of Bodom and Soilwork are two of the dumbest names ever.
