HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta has just released a new solo song as JASTA called "Chasing Demons" featuring guest vocals from former KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and current DEVIL YOU KNOW singer Howard Jones. It is only available for GAS Digital subscribers here. If you aren't a subscriber, you can get the track by signing up with the offer code "Jasta." JASTA will open the first ten shows of the upcoming KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and ANTHRAX tour — including the two KILLSWITCH ENGAGE headline shows that do not feature ANTHRAX. "I rarely get to tour with JASTA and since the rest of my year is booked up with HATEBREED tours, I jumped at the chance to hit the road and debut some new JASTA songs with some of my favorite people in metal," said Jasta. "Not only is the tour hitting some of my favorite cities to play, the lineup offers something for every generation of metal and hardcore fan. Come out early and get the pit started with us!" Jamey's debut solo album, "Jasta", sold around 4,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 133 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD landed at position No. 1 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200. "Jasta" was released in North America on July 26, 2011 via eOne Music and in Europe one day earlier through Century Media Records.
