I've been trying that and I still get the same results but I dont have any clips to upload just yet, my bad.
I seem to be running into the same problems no matter what snare I use.
The drums sound fine by themselves but as soon as I mix in everything else somehow the snare seems to lose all balls.
I'll upload a clip of the drum mix so you can hear what I mean.
