Been spending cash in preparation for our jaunt to the other side of the world:

Pair of Adidas SL76 (Starsky trainers to everyone else)
Some clothes
Meet The Parents DVD
High Voltage - AC/DC Remastered edition
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap - AA
Let There Be Rock - AA
Powerage - AA

The DVD and the four CD's I got for £30!!! God bless Virgin Megastore. :headbang:

Today I'm off to have my hair butchered here - wish me luck. o_O

Nice haul... but how does buying a DVD prepare you for your jaunt? Or is the jaunt just the excuse to buy stuff? Like when I buy people birthday/xmas presents, I have to reward myself for doing it by buying something for me... well that's my justification anyway!

Have you met the parents before, Bev?

Btw, when taking photos at gigs, what speed film do you use?

I also bought her 2 AC/DC DVDs - the Spanish live one (load of bull?) and the latest one... erm... wotsitcalled - both in a boxset for £25! They retail for £20 each seperately :)

Boycott - Radical Records
El Caco - Viva
Electric Boys - Boys Funk-O-Metal Carpet Ride
Extrema - The Positive Pressure (of injustice)
Extreme - Pornograffiti
Extreme - Waiting For the Punchline

that's my latest haul, well what im expecting in a few weeks, all for $50.

Coops - the idea was to buy clothes and stuff but I couldnt find any I like so I found better ways of spending the cash. :)

Winny - because I don't use flash I use the fast stuff, 1600 is the norm. I've experimented with a couple of films and the best one I've used is Fuji Press 800. As the name suggests it's an 800 ISO film, but I push it to 1600 and have it processed accordingly. It's much much nicer than the Fuji Superia 1600 which is commonly available in most camera stores. Red lights tend to bleed horribly in photographs and I found the Superia absolutely awful for that. The Press is a great film though. Your only problem might be finding a lab that will push process for you. :/ As usual a question that required a one word answer has been dragged through the bush backwards and put on the rack.

Oooh, and I will add to the haul by saying that I just bought a pair of Chuck Taylors in Navy blue and I shall be buying the Red ones next week as long as they stop going out of stock before I get to the shop.
