The legendary Radio Werewolf was on that show once. They got kicked out, literally dragged out if I recall correctly.

Sad to say I remember this era and while that talk show host was known for being not exactly genuine, there were a lot of people who held the beliefs ol' Wally was spouting. It was the time of televangelists coming to power politically and the PMRC. Metal was blamed for crime and suicide, ignorant people were easily worked in to hysterics over the likes of Iron Maiden, Motley Crue and WASP and it was common to see metal records being burned.

I remember a teacher lecturing us about the dangers of listening to rock and metal because he was told by his church that WASP stood for We Are Satan's People, and KISS was Kids in Satan's Service and so forth. LOL! Yeah, that made for a pleasant school year.
