if you take 29 years between albums, people are going to be underwhelmed regardless of how good it is
that said, if you like ~prog metal~ then check it
in general i like this one, especially the song "further and farther". they avoided the allure of Modern Metal Production™ thankfully and it's generally quite nice. it's by no means very fast or heavy but instead has a classy, chillaxed, somber vibe that i like. 7/10-ish
basically it's what i wish post-tate queensrÿche would be like, but alas!
