Yep. I hope to catch the Calgary show. Saw Helix (well... Brian Vollmer and his backing band) last year. Nice chap. We talked about when Helix opened up for Triumph in 1985.

I would actually love to see these two bands... I am reading Brian Vollmer's book right now, Gimmie an R... it's a pretty good read so far.

I saw Helix recently at Rocklahoma and they were awesome! It was only Brian Volmer and Brent "Doctor" Doerner from the "classic" lineup but they sounded great. It was well over 100 degrees when they went on at 2pm and Volmer was running and jumping around doing front rolling flips like he was in a huge air-conditioned arena. A couple songs in and he was dumping bottles of water over his head to keep from passing out! I thought he was gonna have a heart-attack but he kept on going and had one of the shows best performances. I hope they come back to the US with the "classic" lineup.
