Rob Zombie + Beer = ass shakin' of an unprecedented level normally.

"Sick Bubblegum" continues that tradition.

I also chuckled a bit on the intro of "Mars Needs Women" as I kept waiting for the eventual "AAAAAAASSSSTTTTRRROOONOMMICAAAAAAAA."

However, wtf was he smokin' on "The Man Who Laughs?" I was stoked as hell about a 9:45 track only to find out that 3:55-7:56 is a percussion solo that makes Rick Allen look like Mike Portnoy. :zombie:

I had this on in the background and I didn't get hooked at all. I'm a fan of a lot of his past work.

Mike Portnoy has nothing on Rick Allen. He has beeen my inspiration for over 20 years. Although I haven't necessarily liked anything they've done after 1990 that guy is just amazing, not only as a player but from a human standpoint. I'd love to hear him try some blastbeats sometime!

Sorry. I meant no offense. I agree with you that Rick is an amazing inspiration story. I still think his drumming is basic (phyiscal limitations and crap music aside).

:kickass::rock: I am looking forward to seeing RZ for the 4th time on 8/01 in ATL!

No, a soft spot for his determination and perserverance after a tragedy. Thanks for bringing up the negative in a positive reply though. I really appreciate it.

Finally got around to listening to this one. I don't know about this one. He's definitely going back to his roots here and it's good to hear those vintage clips again. However, something just isn't clicking with me here. Maybe it's that what I loved about Zombie is he used to have some killer anthems and there aren't any found here in my opinion. Maybe you could say "Sick Bubblegum" but I found that chorus pretty lame. I don't dislike this album and like it much better than the previous one, but it just seems there's something missing. Am I alone here?
