Hello all, my name's Patrick, and I live and work in the Chicago area. Been playing guitar for about 30 years, have been in a few bands and have created some of my own stuff. I visit a couple other forums, and wanted to expand a bit so I signed up here. Looks like a great site, and I hope to meet a few new friends and have a couple laughs.

Welcome Patrick,I used to see quite a few shows around there.Does the Cubby Bear still exist? Or Gateway Theatre in Jefferson Park?

I used to enjoy The Plague,Naked Raygun,Well Of Souls,etc. A great deal of stuff to do there but Winters as brutal as shit.

Hey there Wolf. Yes, Cubby Bear is still around, not sure about Gateway. We're about ready to batten down the hatches here for another long winter. They're saying it's supposed to be the worst one on record, and that it'll make people wanna move. I say bring it on!
