Hey guys, name is Rick and I is new in town. I recognise a few of the folks on here which I actually know in person. Just thought I'd introduce myself, say hi to the rest of y'all.

Played guitar for about 16 years, dabble in production/engineering and all that stuff. Got a project called Demolition which I play in. Our my space is www.myspace.com/demolitionoz and I like travelling, being an idiot and watchin movies.

This is by no way me trying to promote the band or anything like that. Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello and tell ya some stuff about me which is slightly relevant.

Anyway, cheers to all.

Hahahahahahahhaa, welcome Rick - Sloan is the funniest motherfucker on here bar none, so expect much lol-ercoastering when he contributes. But seriously, this is a great place, hope you dig it! :kickass:

Hahaha, this place is pretty cool so far. Alot of useful stuff I found just using the search thingy and ended up with a ripper tone from my dual recto too by tweaking a tone I'd found on here. So good I'll actually keep it I think. I'll put a clip up when I get time and you can bash my mix. Sloan is pretty damn funny too. I hope I can contribute some useful posts to this forum soon, I don't have heaps of time to post but when I can......

Cheers

Hey Ermin, there would be no chance I could engineer my own material even if I wanted to. I could part do the job at best! Having the type of monitors I'm using, being KRK - they are totally unbalanced and really hard to get something good from thru a mixing point of view. I'm gonna post another thread about this tonal issue I got with the mids not being high enough in the frequency range.
