Hello to fellow metal heads

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I have been a metal fan since I was a child in the 80's. I 'm reading some posts and thinking this site may be more about death metal though than the metal I like. My favorite bands are Godsmack, Korn, Disturbed, Slayer, Queensryche , Alice in Chains, Bullet for My Valentine, Deftones and many more. I'm not really into Death Metal. lol I want to interact with other people who love the same music that I do. I am from Florida. Thanks.

Yeah there really aren't many nu-metal/alt-metal fans here, unfortunately for you.

Slayer and Queensryche rule though! Surprised you don't like death metal but you do like Slayer. Reign In Blood is basically the blueprint for early death metal, listen to the first Death album Scream Bloody Gore or Possessed's first album Seven Churches.
