Thanks, nice to see a Punk fan here. Bad Religion's hit or miss with me, but they do have their moments. Void's ok, those early-'80s Harcdore groups are fascinating, even mythical.
For some reason over the years Bad Religion's debut album has grown on me to a ridiculous degree, whereas I usually dislike melodic hardcore punk. Dag Nasty were cool too.

True, it's usually the first few releases that are the best with underground groups. As time passes they usually branch out musically and it usually doesn't end up as good.
