I bought Opeth's Still Life today... if their considered DM then I would recommend them and that album.. I also like Black Dahlia Murder which i know you already have... they are playing here in NY next weekend i believe.. i might go see their show...

I registered here a while back , just wanted to see if you guys could recommend some DM bands?

Well, we're not death metal, but I can recommend my band, Misery Infliction. I know that sounds really self-serving or whatever--lol--but we are really trying to get word out about our band. We're from Dale City, VA, and just played a show at the Jaxx in Springfield last sunday--we got awesome reactions from the crowd. We only have one of our songs up on the site right now, unfortunately, and the quality of the recording quality isn't so great cuz we originally just did it so that our new bassist could practice with it. But more will follow, and with better recording quality.
