New to the site, not so new to metal. I'm a big fan of subgenre taxonomy and categories, not as a gatekeep-y thing, more for fun and because putting bands in genre buckets makes my brain happy.
Most of my playlists are dictated by Metallum and RYM for album-to-album genres, and I know there are some that aren't "correct" for various reasons, but I'm more than happy to hear where you think a band/album should go, or if there should be a new playlist for a whole group of artists!
