DAMN! Does this album kick some serious ass!!!!!!!
I was a bit skeptical after thier last tragedy, in "Keepers Part III".

This album has it all. Power, speed, and melody.
Everything that Helloween can do, and do well.

If you have lost faith in Helloween, it should quickly be restored after hearing this album!

Anyone else pick this up?

I honestly prefer Keepers 3 to this any day of the week.

You have to be kidding me...........
Keepers III was full of recycled riffs and terrible lyrics.
That release was nothing more than a cheap marketing ploy to attract older fans back to the band, with the use of the "Keepers" tag.

I consider myself a HUGE Helloween fan, and have been since Keepers I.

Hey, to each his own.

Let me ask you though.
What about the new album don't you care for?

I like the new one pretty well, but I have got the feeling it's going to have a short shelf life with me.

I know what you mean.
That has been happening to me with most of the bigger power metal bands for me for the past couple of years.

Still - It's great to see Helloween bringing back the power.

This should make my top 10 for 2007 for sure.
Much better than the new Manowar or Iced Earth.

Here are some chart positions for the new HELLOWEEN. WTF is up with them being on the NEW ARTIST list in the US?

HELLOWEEN's new CD, "Gambling with the Devil", has registered the following first-week chart positions:

France: #103
Germany: #38
Italy: #49
Japan: #3 (International)
Norway: #44
Sweden: #34
Switzerland: #88
UK: #18 (Rock Albums)
US: #63 (Top New Artist Albums)

In a year that boasted STELLAR new releases from Trouble, Candlemass, and Novembers Doom?
(Amongst many other great releases...)

I want what you are smoking!

Guys I have to agree that this is one kick ass disc. I keep going back to it and that doesn't happen much anymore with "new" music.

I just sampled Gamma Ray's new one and I got thru two songs... not good at all...
