I just got a Metronome, now how do i practice with it

im lost,
HELP ME STEVEN, HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Do bass players use palm mutes.
i know it sounds stupid, but i have only been playing for 3 months and i have no clue

set the metronome to the tempo you want to play at (like 120 bpm or something) then just practice playing in time. if you have riff or someting, or a piece that you want to plya, play that to the metronome. its just to keep time. like a drummer. or you can practice scale or excercieses with it. anything you want. mess with it.


as far as palm muting, some bassists do, some don't. they are usefual occasionally. up to you really.

Anyhow
There should some form of a circle on yours
(I had a Korg one)
With numbers 40 to around 210
Select the speed you want the metronome to play
Press the button on it
and knock yourself out
