Hi guys.. Long time reader, first time posting.
I hope not being too cheeky, but need some advise/help

Im mixing our bands album.. and this song is a tricky one for me to "sound" right. - its not Heavy, but hard.

Ive tracked the guitars so many times, recorded via a Marshal head, and 2 Alinco golds, sm57, and Tube Mic. - all other songs guitars sound pretty fine. but on here sounds a bit dull, lifeless and generally im disapointed..not just the guitars, but the whole mix

Maybe its just me? but this is what I'd like your opinions for. - this mix really deserves to be full out Punchy!.. but its just not really is it...

Also how is the mix in terms of sounability? - im mixing this myself.. and im not a pro by any means....so bound to of done a few things wrong.. feel free to point those out too... i'd like to learn etc!

Anyway here is the track.....Let me know, thanks

Just a new edit now applied (see above post)
Anyone have any critique?

can I get a bump on this, would rather have folk tell me that its shyte! if it is.
if not then how can I improve upon it.. as its so increibly weak currently, and as I want to work on it tonight some feedback would be a good start?
Please anyone? I want to learn this stuff?

Hey Odennis, yeah Im actually using 3 really subtle compressors on my main output bus... i find it colours the sound nicer than compressing the peaks with just one. (but even with 3) cant really notice it... - plus its not masterd, still in mix state. but its just not punchy enough.. but not sure hoe to fix that.. - tried all the tricks.. parellell compression, bus limiting etc etc.
