Help on Mixing an entire album

Hi guyz, this is my first post.
I'm mixing my first entire album and I have a question.
How do you guyz transfer the settings from a song to another? Do you make it manually or there is another easy way to do it? I'm using Sonar but I want to know how to do this kind of thing in other softwares too.

in pro tools: file > import > session data
in cubase: right clikc in mixer window > save mixer data

I found the way to do this with Sonar. Menu - Insert - Insert From Track Template - More Track Templates... type "*.*" so you can see all files. Then find the song that you are using as a Template, and then load. Tracks and Busses will be loaded with all the plugins!
