Hello, I've been learning with this forum for some time now...
I am from Brazil, and I own a recording studio arround here directed to METAL.
My problem is, I think my GUITAR sounds are gettin' too much MID's, no matter how many time I spend with it. (Could it be the guitar I tracked the DI tracks? - Gibson Flying V?) May be my ears, May be the bass...

Well here is the signal chain with settings:
Guitar DI -> Radial Xamp ->
TS9 ( everything is in "clock" style) DRIVE 9:00, TONE 11:30, LEVEL noon. ->
Peavey 6505 Head
"RED" channel
(Oclock)
Pre 11:00
Low 1:30
Mid 9:30~9:40
High 11:30
Post 10:00
Res 2:30
Pres 3:00
->
Mesa Boogie 4x12 Oversized CAB withV30
->
SM 57 (Fredman style used here. No problems with phase)
->
Neve 5012 Pre
->
MOTU MK3
->
Nuendo 3.3.
->
Guitar Dual Tracked.
Nothing on eq, just LP/HP arround 60hz/20khz PLUS C4 Andy Sneap style (To control some Palm Mute)
