i havent mixed a metal track in ages, and have recently been given something to mix, not as brutal as im used to, but still needs help.
i was given pre-recorded drums, so cant fix the overhead phasing much, and was given clean guitars and bass, i am using amplitube3 but have decided that remaping is going to work better for this band, also i have layered the vocals a little. the reason for the hard pan guitars is that read somewhere that one can get a chuncky sound from 2 guitar tracks..anywhoo, take a listen and hit me with any ideas you may have with this mix so far.
