HELREIDH sign a worldwide deal with PURE PROG RECORDS! The reunited Italian band is well-known with the full-length album "Memories" (1997) and the EP "Fingerprints Of The Gods" in the world of progressive metal and rock. The new album "Fragmenta" offers very good Progressive Metal with some classic Progressive Rock influences. We are very impressed and proud to have HELREIDH on PURE PROG RECORDS. HELREIDH are back! The album will be released in November 2012.

"We are very honored and proud to announce that Helreidh has signed a deal with Pure Prog Records for the release of their long awaited new album: Fragmenta.
After more than 10 years from Fingerprints of the Gods, and 4 years form their last live appearance, the Italian prog metal band has really come back, strong and rocking more than ever. Nothing yet can be revealed about the album, but soon there will be more news. Stay tuned", states the band.

Helreidh are proud to present the Artwork of the cover of their forthcoming album "Fragmenta" due in november. The band in June signed a worldwide contract for the release of Fragmenta with the German label Pure Prog, which recently released the cult Italian Band Adramelch album "Lights from Oblivion".

The artwork is based on a concept of the band guitarist Yorick. It is a composition of different photograph pieces and bits of the band musicians portraits. It expresses the idea of fragmented lives and being the eyes the gateway also the fragmented soul. Black and white is a band stylistic choice for this album… it will be reflected in also the live environment.

The long-awaited comeback-album of Italian Prog-legends HELREIDH, "Fragmenta", will be released on November 09, 2012.

If you’re into melodic, yet uncompromised progressive metal, the name of HELREIDH might sound somehow familiar to your ears. Yes, this Italian band has been active in the second half of the 90s, releasing a couple of excellent albums, before entering a long hiatus, which the new ‘Fragmenta’ is now about to break.
Remember the thrilling melodies of the debut, ‘Mémories’, released 1997? Or the varied, multi-layered sound of the following ‘Fingerprints of the Gods’ EP? These two releases brought HELREIDH of the agenda of most progressive metal lovers back at the time, before that unsurprising internal issues tore the band apart, even before releasing the anticipated second full-length, ‘Earth Chronicles’.
Well, these two releases now have a worth successor in the shape of the new ‘Fragmenta’, an album which doesn’t only revive the spirit of the old HELREIDH, but brings with him a number of new elements, starting with a strongly renewed line-up. Aside founding members Yorick (guitars) and Luca Roggi (drums), HELREIDH anno 2012 feature as well Max ‘The Voice’ Bastasi (vocals), Aligi Pasqualetto (keyboards) and Francesco ‘Frana’ De Paoli (bass, ex-Raising Fear). What’s most important, they sport a significantly wider musical spectrum. Their progressive roots still play a key role into the music of HELEIDH, but elements of classic rock, hard rock and progressive rock are to be found as well.
The title says a lot: ‘Fragmenta’, a collection of fragments, individual stories yet to be told. And the stories of the single tracks are pretty different: songs dating back to the early phase of the band, musical ideas deriving from other projects and brand new songs, all merge together to create a sound that brings together passion, power, feeling and musical intensity.
To make it short, with this new album HELREIDH have managed to reach new heights, creating a sound that’s heavier and more complex, but also catchy and moving, rich of progressive and symphonic edges. Fans of Savatage, Kamelot and Ayreon will have their fun in the new ‘Fragmenta’, an album which deserves its own recognition, aside from any possible comparison.
HELREIDH are back, with a progressive vengeance!

HELREIDH - "special guests" on the new album "Fragmenta"

HELREIDH are very proud to announce three very special guests featured on their album „Fragmenta“, which will be released by Pure Prog Records on November 9, 2012.

The tracks "Exile" and "Orfeo's Lament" have been co-written by Yorick and Shadow Gallery's Guitarist and Keyboard player Gary Wehrkamp. Gary also plays guitar and keyboard solos in Exile.

Alex De Rosso, the Italian virtuoso rock guitarist, also former Dokken guitarist, produced and mixed the album together with the band.
Last but not least, Marco Concoreggi (aka Mark Dexter), founder and singer of Dexter Ward (and previously in Battleroar), is the author of the lyrics of four tracks and sings in the acoustic/medieval track "Shades of My Untimely Autumn".

"The experience in the USA with Gary was one of the most exciting and stimulating in my life", says Yorick "writing music with one of my heroes has been unique, and has taught me so much, that I have to be thankful forever to Gary. That's why Fragmenta is so important to me, is the recollection of those moments, it's the starting point of a new life of the band, but also the point where all the pieces come together.

Working with Alex, my very first guitar teacher has been amazing… and has created a very important bond between us. Mark… well Mark is always been part of the band since 2003, and always will be. He perfectly has embodied the spirit of Orfeo, when we were working on it… we hope to have him often as guest in some of our future concerts."

ADRAMELCH & HELREIDH: Prog Metal Night with ELDRITCH!

After the success of the last album, Helreidh are ready to present "Fragmenta" to the general public on January 11 at New Age Club Roncade (TV) in an evening dedicated to Prog Metal, which will see the participation of other two great bands, Eldritch and Adramelch!

The night:
An evening dedicated to Italian Prog Metal, which will feature three bands: Helreidh, Eldritch, and Adramelch, who will play together for the first and only time on Prog Metal Night on January 11 at New Age Club Roncade (TV). Truly an evening not to be missed by fans of the genre!

The event will be opened by legends Adramelch, active since 1986, whose new album, "Lights from Oblivion," was released by Pure Prog Records in April 2012 and has been a great success both at home and abroad.

They are followed by Helreidh with the new album "Fragmenta", released on November 9, 2012, who then take the opportunity to present the disc into this evening that will also host the official release concert of the band. Another historical band, founded in 1994, Helreidh released their first album, "Memories", in 1997. After a long hiatus, they returned to their work in 2006 with a new line up that would lead them in 2010 to record Fragmenta and finally to finally release it on Pure Prog Records.

"... An album that does not just recover the spirit of the old HELREIDH, but brings with it many new elements enriched with elements of classic rock, hard rock and progressive rock." (Sandro Buti - Metalmaniac).

Finally, the great Eldritch close the evening. Also active in the 90s and fresh from the success of the Prog Power USA 2011 and their album "Gaia's Legacy" released in March on Scarlet Records, they continue the tour that took them all over Italy .
