Anyone else a fan? I love the guy. Not so much for his music but more for his spoken word stuff and his books. Anyway, just got tickets to go see him for the second time. Can't wait

I've only heard one song.....Liar I think?? It was pretty good....Havent heard any of his "spoken word" shit, or read his books, but I'll check into it

His solo stuff has some pretty cool songs, like "Liar","Low Self Opinion", or "Illumination", but man......Black Flag's "Disconnected" album will always be his career highpoint, in my opinion. What a kick ass punk album that is.

I loved him with Black Flag,
I loved him as a solo artist...
but he changed his band and went more hard rock'n'roll than free hardcore rock and that disappointed me... my fav album remains "The End of Silence".
Live, it's still a kick ass experience to see Mr Rollins. imho he has the best charisma of all the singers I saw (and that's a lot for I saw my first concert in 1983)...

PS : I love his spoken words too but I never read any of his books, which is the best for starters ?

Black Flag is great! If you like that or his solo albums (Weight is the only one I have.)
You might want to check out his old band State Of Alert that and Minor Threat and Fugazi as well!

I did like the ep he did with Andrew Weiss under the name Wartime called "Fast Food For Thought". Starnge stuff.
