HERDER was conceived from the murky swamps by JB to praise the holy crushing scepter of doom and release the low filthy sludge in a revelation of deep rumbling decibelquakes in the hellish underbelly of a world gone mad! Coming in a stabhappy frenzy from the Westereen, the devotion to the HERDER knives was only natural and instinctive and so was the passion for heavy as fuck drinking! Relentless pounding Stoner Doom with a Sludgy vibe was created to wreak havoc upon mankind's feeble outcasts and Lotharios: With past / present sexoffenders of DR DOOM, RUSH N ATTACK, ABORTED, OMISSION, URFAUST and THE DEVIL'S BLOOD, you know you are into something furious and fucked up beyond recognition: HERDER IS HARDER, FUCK YOU TILL DEATH!!!!

Recordings are quick rehearsal recordings btw, meant as preproductions/demo's, real recordings have yet to begin.

Sounds awesome! Perfect stoner production, kickass room sound! Did you have a kickass drum room or using some impulses/samples? I might try some crazy solos on this later
 
Dude, the solo is almost perfect for this ... got exactly the right vibe, I would just de-improv it as in play it like that a few times till you got the shaky "which note next?" bits sorted out.
 
Fuck, B minor is a really awkward key for a standard tuned strat with 21 frets..
 
Maybe you got a point Smy, but i just don't feel good about my own solo's haha, but like i said, you have a point, and i'll definetly try it!

Cool that you liked it korpse, for a rehearsal they came out pretty cool :) Siked to hear what you come up with.
 
Hey Seizure, good track!
I agree about the solo, just try to do it yourself; you don't need a lot of speed in a stoner production. To improve it you can add more guts playing slow but picking harder, also you can add some wild bends and a couple of interesting passing notes.

Is this a cover? Because I seem to remember when Glenn got his Sunn0))), he posted a clip with the exact same riff ;)

As previous, keep plugging at your part as it fits well

I have stuck some ideas down for you to laugh/steal or whatever. Mostly repeating lines in the same style you are doing now.

In the meantime i'm gonna do a decent recording of this song + 3/4 more, and were releasing that through reflection/monumentum records the way its looking now.

Anthony Roberts (for one artwork for Urfaust and Electric Wizard, Unearthly Trance etc) is now working on the artwork for that 12" :)

+ a M/S a meter infront of the kit.
No reverb :)
 
Well.. we found a label to release it pretty damn fast actually, so:

we have some news from the crypts:

in between all the smoking and drinking, we managed to find a dedicated label that will release our first demo on vinyl!

It will be a 1 sided 12" record with 3 or 4 songs on it....

it will probably be recorded and released within a few months time (the usual setbacks will probably occur, but who gives a shit)...

Mastermind Anthony Roberts will take care of the artwork (you might know him from the excellent stuff he did for Electric Wizard, Urfaust, Unearthly Trance etc), so at least the cover will be great
