[font=Arial, Geneva, Helvetica]During the 1980s, The Transformers cartoon series totally ruled the airwaves, and it proved such a cult hit that they made the jump to the big screen with an all-star cast including Orson Welles, Eric Idle, Judd Nelson, Leonard Nimoy, Robert Stack, Casey Kasem, and Scatman Crothers. The Autobots must save their home planet from a terrifying evil entity known as Unicron. At the same time, they must defend themselves from an all-out attack from the Decepticons. Along the way, lives are lost, battles are fought, and a new Autobot leader is born as another dies. The story and action never stop in a thrilling ride that often makes you forget that you're watching a supposedly cheesy '80s cartoon, and the sometimes shocking violence landed this one with a PG rating. Don't underestimate this movie; there is definitely more to it than meets the eye. [/font]
