Lost and found records has remastered and rereleased Heretic's "Breaking Point." Heretic features former Metal Church vocalist Mike Howe on vocals and the release was also produced by none other than Kurdt Vanderhoof. It does sound quite a bit like Howe era Metal Church because of those...... The release also features a bonus track, but unfortunately, it is with a different vocalist.

It's basically a thrashier version of Blessing in Disguise (Metal Church).

No offense my brother, but I think it is more like a less thrashy version of "Blessing in Disguise." It is a pretty high quality disc, but the songs aren't quite up to the level of BiD though.

No matter who is right or who is wrong though.... I think it is sort of a blend of thrash and American powermetal. Fans of thrash will most likely dig the disc.

I'd argue BID to be less thrashy record - more power metal. Heretic is a rawer record with less intricate songs.

They're both pretty similar records though, if you like one, you'll probably like the other.
