has anyone seen it? I know its been out for a while. It looks kind of too indie for me. should i see it?

I did. Kinda stupid, but JGL rules, Natalie Portman is hot and Metallica rules. 'Nuff said. JGL acted like Cliff Burton so well that Metallica said he reminded them of Cliff without him telling them that's what he was going for.

What he said. Oh, and I didn't know Cliff was into bombing houses and throwing shit into the swimming pools of people who were not at home, let alone crashing at some random kid's house.

I have this on blu ray...I think it's a great movie. I'm kind've over Metallica and all the type of advertising the mags do with this film (even though it was only for the DVD release...basically what I'm saying is that people may write off this film for it being too "mainstream" metal of whatever). But if you watch it without expecting too much I think you'll really enjoy it.

probably in the personality.

probably in the personality.

Yeah, I understood that. It's just that for most of the movie, you don't see much of a "personality" other than an adult child going around being the biggest fucking asshole possible. No one seemed to mind either except T.J.. I just don't see how any sane person could ever intentionally want to be around someone like that.

I meant when he talked to people. There was alot of talking with T.J., his dad, grandma and natalie. It was his overall dimeanor, attitude, crude jokes on a social person to person level that I guess reminded Metallica of Cliff. Or maybe it was just his look. When someone says that a person reminds them of someone they knew...it's probably just the way they talk, their mannerisms, their attitude, their voice. Because throwing bombs through a window, lighting a car on fire with gasoline, throwing shit into a random person's pool etc. is a little rare.
Someone came up to me and said I reminded them of a certain actor...I figure what they meant is the way I talk and look...not all my actions.
