G'day Everyone,
Been a longtime reader of this Forum, but was never able to log into it, so was never able to post unfortunately. Until now. I'm Chris from Australia, a 23 year old musician, and longtime fan of James. I think I first doscovered him in 1995 when I first heard the "Low" album - WOW!!! I tried emailing him one day from college (was new to email and www at this point) as we had all got email accounts, and I remember being so blown away that the same guy I was listening to tear it up on "Low" actually wrote back to me. What's more, the replies were always prompt, and always answered any "what colour are your socks" questions that I might have asked at the time. Still very much appreciate that to this day.
Still play the solo stuff constantly (particularly "Convergence" which I actually player earlier tonight), and am so glad that James was able to overcome his horrible illness, and is continuing to make progress in his recovery.
