Hey, new here, I play guitar. I've been in a few message boards but many get old really quick, this one seems a lot cooler. Anyways, I've been playing about a year and a half, in the midst of learning how to really solo, I'm still quite sloppy.

It's a constant evolution...everytime I get excited about some progress I make, I listen to some of my favorite players and realize how much more work I have to do. Then I go and abuse myself practicing again...

Hey man, What's a good way to learn guitar solos without lessons or reading tab? I now some shredding cause I watched Eddie Vanhalen doing some shredding. Other than that I haven't been able to evolve. I love to mainly play rhythm, and write riffs regularly. I constantly hear solos in my head that I come up with, but I can't play them. Any suggestions? I'm poor too.
