I don't really agree with CV about Dis, I really like it and think it's nordic as can be, more or less (singular form of
diser). Got a few more contenders for both male and female names, but might end up with something we haven't even thought about yet...

Quorthon would probably be quite a nuisance as noone would ever be able to
spell or pronounce it, I wouldn't want that for myself (let alone explaining what it means to every single fucking person you meet, not even Quorthon was named Quorthon) and I'm afraid it's out of the question. A good name should be representative of its bearer to the degree that can be decided by the time a name is chosen, it should be easy enough to spell, speak and explain when needed, and it should have some kind of actual meaning. Dis and Vidar both fulfill those criteria. Who the hell cares anyway and why in this thread?
