Hey guys, check out my new band, influences by Behemoth, Arch Enemy, etc.

Don't expect anything actually like the influences mentioned though, I'm just not sure how to categorize it. It's extreme metal, and no "core" stuff. This is the first demo, it was done by the guitarist and the singer alone before they gathered a full band so I had nothing to do with it, but I thought you'd like to hear it anyways. It's a demo and it sounds like one, but I don't think there's anything inherently "wrong" in the mix, it's just a demo done by the guitarist himself with very little knowledge and no experience with mixing, I know for sure it sounds much better than my first couple mixes when I was starting.

Even if you weren't involve with the mix: it is ok for what it is, demowise, but there's some real timing issues going on at spots, I guess with the midi drums not lining up or something?

I already said it on fb but it's a great band name and the music is really good man! the snare seems to pop out hard but considering what style it is, not really an issue.

Thanks guys! The snare definitely pops out in the blast beat parts, but you know snare drums, hard to get them sit right hahaha

Mago, about the timing issues, I haven't noticed such, but you could be right. I sure am having a lot of fun being in a band where I don't have to write, produce, sing, manage, handle guitar tones, make coffee, etc. I just learn the songs, add my touch the basslines, play bass and have fun. Plus, the music is really good so that makes it even more fun. Fun fact, in case you hadn't noticed, the vocalist is a chick.
