Hey guys, it's KoЯnyBoy here. I'm 17, Canadian, and have only been with metal for about 2, 3 years. I'm mainly into what I've heard are the 3 main scourges of metal: nu-metal, metalcore, and power/symphonic metal. I'm also starting to get into gothic metal (Evanescence, Lacuna Coil), black metal (Dimmu Borgir), and thrash such as Metallica and Anthrax, so at least I've got that going for me.
I think the only sub-genres of metal I will outright refuse to listen to are pornogrind and grindcore at this point. I dunno, something about that just seems bad about it.
