Apparently I've been a member of this forum for over a year and never posted. Not sure why that is...
Anyway, My name's Jay. I'm from Massachusetts. 22 years old. Loving metal since I was old enough to piss standing up. I promote unsigned bands with my buddy on my web page DarcSystems
We just put the new site up, it didn't have a forum or anything before.
My favorite bands are mostly European. I love Edguy, Falconer, Dark Tranquillity, Children of Bodom, Rhapsody, At The Gates (god, why don't they reunite already?) Avantasia (I like power metal...notice?) Hammerfall.
The list is too long to type out. Or maybe I'm just too lazy. The last album I bought was (actually two albums) the Rhapsody compilation CD " Tales from the Emerald Sword Saga" and Kamelot - The Black Halo. Both great albums. The Rhapsody one seems to have almost all my favorite Rhapsody songs. I'm going to see them and Manowar in July. Gonna see Edguy and Hammerfall in August. Should be a fun summer
Some random info about myself:
I'm a sub contractor. Building houses, painting, and roofing.
I was in the Army for 3 years. Loved every second of it, but was discharged after breaking my foot pretty badly.
I play guitar occassionally. Hard to keep up with it with all my time devoted to work.
I'm a backyard mechanic, going to be going to Wyo-tech in October for automotive technology.
Currently drive an 85 Mustang with a 408 stroker under the hood. I always felt muscle cars and metal go well together.
I'm always up for conversations about music. I love to debate.
