Switch to on or off ? Processor DI interface (GT-10 output left [mono] to FA-66 input 2 with Hi-Z switchable to on/off). I really don't hear any diffence

Some of you probably have that Hi-Z thing (high impechance) and work with a GT/POD/11rack/AxFx...

If the output is line level then no need for Hi-Z.

Here's what they say at BOSS:

Nominal Output Level
OUTPUT: -10 dBu / +4 dBu

I'm a little consufed, does it mean that the line level is when I set the master to max ? It seems like it sounds best when I leave it at 12 o clock and adjust my pre-amp on the interface according to.

Thank you for the infos man! I'll probably look like a fool but how can I leave about 5dB to 10dB and know I left that ? It is 5 to 10 db below that 0dB on the meter (I fugre that's the -18db thing). And also, what's best to measure that ? (Is it like big palm muting on the neck pick up with tone to 0 ? lol) thanks again
