I'm from Belgium, been a metal fan for about 2 years (I guess), and at the moment I really like Opeth and Type O Negative. Other favourites are Darkane, The Gathering, Lacuna Coil, Dimmu Borgir, Amon Amarth, Emperor, Immortal, Anathema, My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Leaves' Eyes, Atrocity, Oceans Of Sadness, some Catamenia too. Should give you an idea of what I like. I read a lot too (Edgar Allan Poe / Herman Brusselmans / Stephen King).
