From Blabbermouth:

"NonConforming Minds", a brand new song from Brazilian metallers HIBRIA, is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page. The track comes off the group's third album, "Blind Ride", which is scheduled for release on January 26 via King Records in Japan. The CD was mixed and mastered at Machine Shop Studios and marks the recording debut of the band's new bass player Benhur Lima, who joined HIBRIA after the tour in support of the group's previous CD, "The Skull Collectors".

"Blind Ride" track listing:

01. Blind Ride (intro)
02. Nonconforming Minds
03. Welcome To The Horror Show
04. Shoot Me Down
05. Blinded By Faith
06. The Shelter's On Fire
07. Beyond Regrets Of The Past
08. I Feel No Bliss
09. Sight Of Blindness
10. Tough Is The Way
11. Rotten Souls

The cover artwork for "Blind Ride" (see below) was created by Gustavo Sazes (ARCH ENEMY, FIREWIND, SONIC SYNDICATE, GOD FORBID) of Abstrata Art, while the 3D modeling (also known as meshing; the process of developing a mathematical representation of any three-dimensional surface of object [either inanimate or living] via specialized software) was handled by HIBRIA guitarist Diego Kasper.

Commented Kasper: "We're sure this is the most intense and raging album in our career so far. Besides keeping the speed, dense arrangements, and melodic lines of the heavy metal we've played until now, we allowed influences from thrash to progressive to permeate our music. We can't wait to hear the feedback from our audience, live and through the web. Also, we have recently inked a deal with Base 2 Productions, in charge of the management of SEPULTURA and ANGRA, and for sure all these new partnerships [label/management] would take us to another level in a worldwide basis."

HIBRIA is:

Iuri Sanson (Vocals)
Abel Camargo (Guitar)
Diego Kasper (Guitar)
Benhur Lima (Bass)
Eduardo Baldo (Drums)

Hibria has been a band that i always knew was a good band but never really thought much about, I think that will change with this album. From everything i have heard about this album including that song I believe this could be the break out album for them. I need to go change my list of bands i would like to see now, because i think with this release Hibria becomes a band that would do very well at PPUSA.

Hibria deserved a ProgPower spot based on their first album. They've remained great. This is quality stuff, and a bit more mature than the first two.

Anyone notice a slight Freak Kitchen influence in the vocal line during the chorus (and the phrase "Nonconforming Mind")? Just seems like something IA would write/sing...still, it works. Good song.

Hibria is one of the most consistent metal bands there is. Im looking forward to hearing this and possibly seeing them soon ;)

Defying all the rules, was a great PowerMetal album, the problem was that it was just a Power Metal album, as good as it was, there was nothing to set them about from everyone else (beside the fact of it being awesome, Iknow). From what i have read and heard, they kinda go into their own sound on this album.
