Why is it in Australia that we seem to always give interstate bands the benifit of the doubt when it comes to live shows.

Where as we usually make our local ones work twice as hard to get a response from us. Has anyone else noticed this? The fact that we seem to make more noise for an interstate band - even if they're only average - than we do for our local bands?

You make good point, I know their are a few Aussie Bands I make a big fuss over when they play, but that's because I love Aussie Metal. I guess when oversea's bands come to play hear that because it's well received and only good things are said because it's not often we get overseas band touring down here, and if the responce is good, I guess we hope they tell other bands, which we may like more and they come tour Austraila??? I'm sure if we had a continued influx of o/s metal bands, we could become more critical towards them???
