House Of Lords - Saint of the Lost Souls

Had a little time to sit with this one. Compared to the 2 previous discs this one is way more laid back. Very good cd but I had to not compare it to the last 2. The vocals are very good as usual and lead solos are still good. Production needs some serious work. Really hear the vocals and keys and the rhythm guitars are way down in the mix.

Overall - enjoyable cd but do miss the more hard rock approach of the last 2 discs.

I thought the old HoL albums were too light. I really enjoyed the last 2 because they rocked quite a bit and had a few "heavy" songs by their standards. But this one is indeed very laid back and mellow for the most part, which is a disappointment for me...
