How do De-Ess in Reaper ¯\(º_o)/¯

There isn't exactly a plugin in Reaper to de-ess
and I don't really know where to begin
so anyone know how or know of a good free plugin for mac?

I've messed around in Reaper, but never with de-essing, but I can say that spitfish gets the job done, and quite admirably. Also, like I said B4, all of those pugs are pretty nice.

Spitfish is awesome

But I think ReaXcomp will do the job just as good, you'll just have more to tweak as opposed to Spitfish.

But Spitfish doesn't work on Intel Macs, right?
