how do you take a screenshot

ahh with the button impr Paint :p after that you go to Paint and press control + v and you have your shot :p

ahhh sorry jejeje besides that button i dont know other way :D
 
i know how to take a pic of my desktop, but can you take a picture like during Windows Media Player? because it will take it, but then the video portion comes out black

before i had my new video card i could take a picture during i was watching media player :p, must be some configuration of the new videocards :)
 
i downloaded the application, but it still leaves video screenshots blank...
thanks for trying though. i resorted to sticking my webcam in front of the screen and snapping a shot with it.
 
but the program cant know to filter out one portion of the screen just because its the video itself.
 
If you play the video with VLC, there's an option to capture frames.
It's under "Video" -> Snapshot. Saves you the trouble of installing programs like Hypersnap or something.. used that before until it just stopped working one day

VLC is the best media player ever made IMO. It plays anything and everything that other media players wont. google it and try it out. simple layout but plays litteraly anything, including DVDs or other movies that WMP wont touch.

And my guess is that yes it is an anti-piracy thing, and since it's a windows product, it'll alter some file somewhere on your computer that wont let you see that part of the screen on a screenshot...it's microsoft, go figure.
