How does this sound? First Mix...

This are a couple of songs I am working on for my band. I know there are some areas that need to be touched up for sure. But overall how does it sound?

Actually, that's an awesome first mix. Better than anything I've ever done. I'm still new to this all but from what I can hear in the cans it seems pretty solid. The bass may be a little much in some sections but it may just be me. I'm sure some of the more experienced guys will have better critiques.

Sure thing. I used a Caparison Walnut Horus with a WCR Godwood in the bridge, the other guitar player ran an ESP Eclipse with an EMG 81 in the bridge. We both ran through a Digitech Bad Monkey as a boost into an ISP Decimator.

And then we both did 2 tracks for each song, one using a 5150 with a bias mod and the other one using a Soldano Avenger with JJ 6L6's.

All our tracks went through a Mesa Oversized Rectifer cab with V30's and mic'd up using a Shure SM57 and Sennheiser e609.

Thats it hahaha, no eq has been done to the guitar in this clips and I don't we will end up doing any.
