How much money do you spend on music?

Fuck, I bought close to 50 albums this year...Average that they are about $15 each, that comes out to around $750. As for shirts, I bought around 10, so somewhere around $160+, and as for shows, near $80 (it's a rare occasion to hit up shows around here...) We'll usually stay at a hotel as well after shows as well, so that's another $30-$50.

So, that comes out to over $1,000 this year. Holy shit, I never really added it up. The thing is though, music is really the only thing I use spending money on, other than food and other necessities. I don't like sports, so no cost to me there. I rarely buy movies or video games, and other high dollar items.

$10 a month for spotify, plus the occasional album I can't stream off there if it's something I just gotta get my hands on. Not counting merch.

Quite a bit... But then again its my only real hobby and I don't smoke/chew/get high/whatever.

I buy 5-10 albums each month, and half the time they're pretty cheap because I get them used most of the time (ebay, amazon, occasional store hit up). I don't have a job or any sort of income so I cant buy much.

I buy maybe 5-10 albums per year, only those standouts that I really like more than 2 or 3 songs on, and that I like the album art and want a physical copy.

I buy a lot of single songs on iTunes though, the .99 cents for a song deal, because usually I only like 1 or 2 songs on an album.

And I go to around 5 concerts a year.

per year, about 6-8 albums, 5-7 small concerts, 1-2 big festivals (these require a plane), 3-5 shirts.

about $900 give or take.

Hard to say...but I imagine about at least a $1,000 a year. $15 per month for my Zune pass. 3-5 Cds a month depending whats being released and what I can find in the used bins at the local independent record store. I try to get to every metal show that comes through and I support the bands by buying merch.

~$300 a year for typically ~100 albums. CD lots on eBay, sub-dollar+shipping Amazon CDs, and Goodwill/Savers make up the overwhelming majority of my purchases. No shows, t-shirts, or anything else.
