...Roadrunner united tracks ? The stuff I've heard is completely fucking shit. the only track I care for is the Glenn Benton one, and the King Diamond one is just kind of "ok" for me.

The thought of all the good RR roster people (i.e. the old bands) working with the lame fuckers from todays wannabes gives me the heeby jeebies.

Damn it, I've just turned into a grumpy old man.:waah:

There's a lotta cool Roadrunner bands but they were all from the 80's and totally ignored on this CD!

ATROPHY, REALM, TOXIK, XENTRIX, QUICK CHANGE, PARADOX etc etc etc...

They'd have to track down the members of those bands with specialist investigators! I wonder what happened to Xentrix? They were by far my favourite Brit thrash band (except for Sabbat and early Skyclad, naturally ;-) )

I dunno but ONSLAUGHT is back in original line up! gonna see em in December, lotsa cool thrash from the UK back then!
Seen SKYCLAD a lot in th emid 90's killer band indeed....not shure what all these guys are doing. Martin had a project going called THE CLAN DESTINED but it never really happened.....

Yeah, shame about the clan destined - could have been very cool. I'm a bit bummed that Martin is giving up on music...

oh, and as for "where are they now?" on Xentrix - take a look at http://www.darkside.ru/interviews/xentrix-eng.html

I actually enjoy the CD a lot. It has some lame songs, but a lot are really good. some of the vocalist choices were kinda bad, but overall i like it

Xentrix were fantastic. I've bought all their old cds off ebay. I had the first already, thankfully, as it costs an absolute fortune to buy it now. The rest I had on vinyl.

Roadrunner is not the label it once was. thats why all real bands got away from it. they do have nickleback so i guess they are still a little metal. (and before everyone starts posting threats that was just a joke)

Soulfly, Life of Agony und Type O Negative are no real bands? WTF? Accordingly, I'm not listening to real music...

While there are a couple of songs that just plain suck, I enjoy the album alot. The Dagger and Independent are great, and I Don't Wanna Be (A Superhero) is one of the most excellent songs I've heard in a while!
