I'm curious, why did they decide to make all the outputs stereo for superior 2, as opposed to the combination of mono and stereo outs that superior 1 had?

but can't you route mono tracks as well? the reason why i'm wondering is that i read in some mag (can't remember which one, but a fairly big one) a producer who said he prefers to have certains drums in mono because he thinks they sounds better. I wouldn't how 'true' that is, or if it even makes much a noticable difference. It just seems that by not having mono outputs in superior 2 they are implying that there isn't a need to have mono drum tracks. Is this a sound quality issue, or just one of practicality?
