How to ship a Argosy desk?

The guy I bought mine from said it originally shipped in like 18 pieces. that might be the cheapest/easiest way to do it if that's how Argosy does it.

Yeah, probably disassembled would be better for you. You could rent a uhaul and get it, but weigh up the costs. If it's coming from a business, you can ship business to business (b2b) with a company like db schenker. i had experience with them shipping some mcintosh amps to austrailia. you have to have tax id numbers etc and they send a guy out with a truck to pick it up and your done!
I don't even know who to contact for shipping or how to get a quote.

Companies will ship ANYTHING, it's just gonna cost more the larger the package. Get the dimensions figured out and call ups,usps,fedex,dhl, whoever and get quotes.
