This guy has been working very hard to raise funds for an open letter from metal fans to Sharon Osbourne to be published as a full page ad on Billboard Magazine. She seems to think her behavior at Ozzfest is all "rock n' roll."

Actually I am not really for keeping this whole controversy alive but then I see how Sharon is trying to twist the truth and I can't help but feeling sorry for the fans for whom Sharon ruined the show. I just hope that a) LOADS of fans will sue her to get their money back and b) that some serious Metal journalist will ask her as to how she felt when half of the audience was leaving the festival in disgust after her "speech".

There is a class action lawsuit in the works. All the info is on that site. Let me add that if he doesn't get enough money for the ad, the money will go to the Clive MS Trust.

I was pretty upset about the whole thing. I know that I will not attend another Ozzfest again. Iron Maiden deserved more than that. I was pissed off. I just hope that Maiden won't be so enraged that they never come back to the U.S. again. If they don't, I wouldn't blame them, but it would suck for their true fans that love them. In my opinion, Sharon made an ass of her self.

This is great that legal action is being taken in this case, however alot of fans probably think that they don't have any power and have already let this go. The Maiden fans should remember how angry and ripped off they felt that day and use that anger to get what they deserve....which is their money back.
