200 fucking dollars. WOW
200 fucking dollars. WOW
It's a close out. The list is actually $1200 though (not to imply that 83% off isn't good enough).jesus.....is there some sort of catch or somethin...list is 2 grand
Sterling = MXL. Nothing grand about this one. I do have one (along with an ST33 and ST44) and it's just alright. Wouldn't use it for any vocals, just some acoustic instruments from time to time, or if I'm doing something M/S.
I think they both use the same (or similar) off the shelf Chinese made bodies. This was the source of some confusion in other things I've read.
Oh, I certainly didn't mean to imply a negative...just sighting the most likely source of confusion.Yeah but that doesn't necessarily kill a mic. Mojave stuff is Chinese, but royer designed (or something like that).
Avantone mics are 100% Chinese parts assembled in the USA, and they are not exactly on the cheap end of things (well I guess they sort of are at $500 and $1k).
Sterling ST79 = MXL 4000, But the Sterling stuff is GC-MF exclusive, just like the 900 series MXL.
